Vacancy & Eligibility Overview

• Post Name: Counsellor

• Total Posts: 03

• Tenure: 3 years (purely on per-sitting basis, subject to High Court directions)

• Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): Minimum 35 years

Qualification & Experience

1. Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from a recognized university, preferably with Social Science/Sociology, Psychology, Clinical Psychiatry as one of the subjects, or Law.

2. Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in the field of social work/welfare or associated with field work, research, or teaching in Government Departments, College, University, or a similar academic institute in the areas of welfare of family or problems of women and children.

Payment of Honorarium

• Per Sitting: ₹600 per sitting for every case at an appropriate stage (preferably on submission of report to the Court after counselling process), subject to a maximum of 5 sittings.

• Reconciled Case: ₹7000 per reconciled case after passing of final order by the Family Court (includes honorarium paid per sitting, if any).

• Multi-case Dispute: Cases between the same parties are considered a single case for honorarium payment.

• Revision: Revisable every 5 years by the High Court (or increased by 20% after 5 years from commencement of the rules).

ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਕੋਲ:

1. ਕਿਸੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ Graduation ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
   ਤਰਜੀਹ Social Science/Sociology, Psychology, Clinical Psychology ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
2. ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 2 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ:
   • Social Work / Field Work
   • ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ
   • Research ਜਾਂ Teaching
   • ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ, ਕਾਲਜਾਂ, ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ
   • ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ

💰 ਮਾਣ-ਭੱਤਾ (Honorarium)

• ਹਰ ਕੇਸ ਲਈ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਪੜਾਅ ‘ਤੇ Counselling ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ₹600 ਪ੍ਰਤੀ Sitting।
• ਇੱਕ ਕੇਸ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 5 Sittings ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
• ਹਰ Reconciled Case ਲਈ Family Court ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਹੁਕਮ ਪਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ₹7,000 ਮਾਣ-ਭੱਤਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
• ਜੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇਸ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ Honorarium ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਸ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
• ਮਾਣ-ਭੱਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

🎯 ਚੋਣ / ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ

ਕਾਊਂਸਲਰਾਂ ਦਾ 3 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੈਨਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਆਦ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਪੈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਆਦ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

• ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ selection process ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਘਟਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
