The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Posts: Senior Scale Stenographer
No of Posts: 33
Age Limit: 21 Years to 30 Years as on 27.06.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800+4000 Grade Pay
Qualification: No Candidates shall be eligible to apply for the Post of Senior Scale Stenographer unless he holds a degree of Bachelors of Arts or Bachelor of Science, or equivalent thereto of a recognized University and has proficiency in operation of Computer (Word Processing, and Spread Sheets.)
Selection Criteria: Candidates shall be required to take down dictation at the speed of 100 W.P.M. in English Shorthand and to transcribe (word Processing Sheet) the same on the Computer at the speed of 20 W.P.M. No Candidate shall be considered to have qualified the test, if he/ she commits more than 4% mistakes, Spread Sheet test shall be only qualifying nature, of 10 Marks and of 10 Minute Duration. to qualify spread sheet test. a candidate shall have to secure 40% or more i.e. 4 or more marks. select list of the qualified candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit in the word processing / transcription test.
Application Fee: The Applicant who have got SC/ST/BC certificate issued by the States of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and also domiciled of / permanent residents of Punjab/Haryana/ Chandigarh. shall have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- All General Category/ Others applicant shall pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- The Fee shall be payable only by way of Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order payable at Chandigarh. in favor of Registrar General, High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh.
How to Apply: Interested and Eligible candidates who fulfill the above eligibility conditions may submit their applications on prescribed proforma duly filled along with annexures, original demand draft/ indian postal order as application fee and all requisite documents, so as to reach the office of the Co-Ordination Branch, (Receipt & dispatch), Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, on or before 27.06.2017.
