The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Post: Staff Nurse
No of Posts: 406
Age limit: Between 18 to 37 years as on 1st Jan. 2025.
Salary: Rs. 29200/- Per Month.
Qualification:
Basic and Professional Qualification (As per “Punjab Health and Family Welfare, Technical “Group C” Service Rules 2016″).
- Secondary Part-II Examination or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution;
- Should possess a diplomа in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized university or institution; and
- Should be registered with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council, established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act, 1932.
Knowledge of Punjabi:- No person shall be appointed to any post in any service by direct appointment unless he has passed Matriculation examinations with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time.
Creteria of Recruitment:
- Written Examination : 90 Marks
- Experience (1 Mark= 1 Year) : 10 Marks
The 1.5 marks will be awarded for the work done during covid pandemic i.e. March 2020 to june 2021. However the marks of experience will be awarded @ 01 Mark per annum for normal period. accordingly the written exam will be of 90 marks and marks of the experience will be limited upto 10 Marks only.
