📋 Selection Procedure
- Stage 1: Mandatory Punjabi Language Qualifying Test (Matriculation Standard, 50 MCQs, minimum 50% marks required; qualifying in nature).
- Stage 2: Written Examination (MCQ based on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Basic Computer Proficiency, English, and Job-related Knowledge).
- Stage 3: Skill / Proficiency Tests:
- • For Clerk: Punjabi (30 w.p.m. on Asees/Ravi font) & English Typing Test on Computer.
- • For Steno-Typist: Punjabi Shorthand (50 w.p.m.) & English Shorthand (80 w.p.m.) with transcription on computer.
- Stage 4: Document Verification (Scrutiny of original educational degrees, 120-hr computer certificate, Punjabi matric certificate, caste/category certificate, and experience letters).
- Stage 5: Final Merit List based on marks obtained in the Written Examination (Part-B / Main Test) among skill test qualified candidates.

- Last date of receiving hard copies of applications forwarded through proper channel: 21.10.2026 (4.00 PM) (only applicable for in-service candidates).
- Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, including educational qualifications, age, category and other applicable conditions, as on the last date to apply online (08.10.2026).
- The minimum eligibility criteria will be verified as per attached/uploaded documents; and candidates not fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be liable to outright rejection of their applications and shall not be allowed to appear in any stage of the selection process.
