Punjab Public Service Commission invites Applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the 06 Posts of District Sainik Welfare Officer in the Department of Defence Serivces Welfare, Government of Punjab. other details of these posts like age limit, qualification, experience, how to apply, etc. are given below:

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Posts: District Sainik Welfare Officer
No of Posts: 08
Age Limit: Candidate should not be below 25 years and above 55 years of age on the 1-1-2016.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 5400/- Grade Pay.
Essential Qualifications
- (a) is an Ex-Indian Commissioned Officer of the rank of Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank of the Indian Navy or Indian Air Force; Provided further that in case no suitable person as specified in this clause is available, an Ex-Emergency Commissioned Officer of any of the ranks mentioned there in shall be eligible for appointment to the Service;
- (b) Produces release order and Pension Payment Order issued by the concerned authorities ; and
- (c) is a Matriculate of recognized university or possesses equivalent qualifications.
Explanation:- Indian Army, Air Force or Navy Special Certificate of Education will be treated as equivalent to Matriculation Certificate. II Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard.
How to Apply: Interested and Eligible candidates who fulfill the above eligibility conditions may submit their applications on prescribed application form which is available at the reception counter of the office Punjab Public Service Commission @Rs 500/- per application form, The candidates can download the application form the website of the Commission The filled Application Form along with requisite fee ( Rs. 500/- as application form fee as Bank Draft of State Bank of Patiala in favour of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission) and relevant documents (as mentioned at 8.3 ) must reach {by Speed post/By hand} in the office of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission , Baradari Gardens, Patiala at the Latest by 5.00 pm before or by 12/08/2016.
