The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Post: Lab Engineer
No of Posts: 01
Salary: Rs. 34000/- Per Month
Initial Duration : 06 Months
Qualification: 1st class M.Tech or equivalent in VLSI / Microelectronics/ ECE/ Related areas with hand on experience on VLSI CAD tools and knowledge of operating system windows/Linux and server.
Duties and responsibilities for Lab Engineer:
- Handling theory as well as laboratory courses on VLSI systems for UG and PG students
- Evaluation of the students and awarding grades on the theory and laboratory subjects handled
- Guiding the UG/PG students on their project work in VLSI design & testing
- Undergoing training on the advanced VLSI design topics under the Learning Enhancement programme (LEP) to be conducted at the VLSI man power resource centers.
- Preparation and submission of project reports to the project funding and monitoring agencies.
- Developing the skills on advanced VLSI CAD tools and guide the students on chip design under SMDP-C2SD.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the project coordinator and co-coordinator.
- Installing and Maintaining CAD tools in Windows and Linux Environment.
- Designing the proposed prototype of the project
