Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, (A State Govt. Undertaking), Chandigarh, invites Applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the Post of Project Associate (Patent Information Centre) on contractual basis for a period of one year initially. The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Post: Project Associate (Patent Information Centre)

Salary: Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA+ EPF per month consolidated
Age: Shall not exceed 38 years as on 08.03.2016
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in any branch of Science or Bachelor`s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in 1st division from a recognized University and at least 1 year working experience in the area of Intellectual Property Rights preferably IP data retrieval system. Punjabi upto matriculation.
Desirable qualification:
1. Doctorate in Science or Master Degree in Engineering
2. Knowledge of Patent filing, searching and Clearance of Patent Agent Exam will be an added advantage.
Work Profile: Conducting preliminary Patentability search on online & offline databases. Documentation & preparation of IPR Case Studies. Organization of faculty training camps and awareness programmes. Co-ordination and follow ups with inventors and industrial associations.
Tenure: The above said posts will be on contractual basis for a period of one year initially. Contract may be extended based on the performance.
