Punjab SSSB’S New Instructions Regarding Punjabi Raavi Font Typing

Punjab Subordinate Selection Service Board, has issued Notification Regarding Instructions For Punjabi  Raavi Typing that may help candidates for Practice of Unicode Raavi Typing. All Willing Candidates should follow these Instructions.

How to Enable Raavi Keyboard in Windows 8, 7 & Vista

Following Steps are to be followed to enable Raavi Font Keyboard.

• Double Click on Regional and Language Option in Control Panel.
  
  • Select “Keyboard and Languages” Tab then Click on “Change Keyboards” button and then click on “Add Button” –> after that Search for Punjabi (India) and –> Expand the + Sign and select Punjabi Keyboard as shown in Figure below.
    
    
    
  • Select Punjabi, Check Keyboard Layout and Select Punjabi.
  • Finally Click on OK and Apply.

How to Use Raavi Keyboard:

• Open any Application.
• First Method: Press alt + Shift Key, now we can type in Punjabi with Raavi (Inscript) keyboard and if we again alt + shift Key then we will switch to English Keyboard.
• Second Method: A Small Language bar or EN button will appear near time and date display on desktop. select the language to type. There we will have both options English and Punjabi.
