Educational Qualification ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ (ਗਰੁੱਪ ਡੀ) ਸਰਵਿਸ ਰੂਲਜ਼, 1963 ਅਤੇ ਇਨਹਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਮੇਂ- ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸੋਧਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ:-
“has passed examination of Matriculation with Punjabi Language as one of the subjects from a recognized educationa institution”.
ਉਪਰ ਦਰਸਾਈਆਂ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ 17 ਤਹਿਤ ਦਸਵੀਂ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੀ ਇਬਾਰਤ ਹੇਠ ਅਨਸਾਰ ਹੈ:-
“Knowledge of Punjabi Language- No person shall be appointed to any post in any service by direct appointment unless he has passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language which may be specified by the Government from time to time.”

ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ:-
ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨਸਾਰ ਮਿਤੀ 01.01.2025 ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠ ਅਨਸਾਰ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ:-
ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰੇਣੀ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 18 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛੜੀ ਸ਼ਰੇਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਸੀਮਾ 42 ਸਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
