Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Chandigarh invites applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the posts of Director Tariff, Director Regulation, Director /M& F, Deputy Director/ M& F, Private Secretary, on deputation contract basis. other details of these posts like age limit, qualification, experience, how to apply, etc. are given below:

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
1. Director Tariff -01
Pay Scale: Rs. 67000- 79000 or 41300 -67000+ 10500 Grade Pay
(a) Minimum Educational qualification: Degree in Electrical /Mechanical/Electronic & Communication Engineering
Qualifying Service:
(i) Serving/retired officers of the Central/State Government or PSU under State/Central Government having experience of working on the post in the scale of Rs.37400-67000+Rs.10000 GP Or
Minimum two years experience of working on the post in the scale of Rs.37400-67000+Rs.8700 GP Or
(ii) Minimum twenty years experience of working in power Sector out of which three years experience in a senior assignment relating to Electricity Laws, regulatory /commercial affairs and other activities relevant to the working of the Commission.
2. Director/Regulations -01
Pay Scale: Rs. 67000- 79000 or 41300 -67000+ 10500 Grade Pay
(a) Minimum Educational qualification: Degree in Electrical /Mechanical/Electronic & Communication Engineering
Qualifying Service:
(i) Serving/retired officers of the Central/State Government or PSU under State/Central Government having experience of working on the post in the scale of Rs.37400-67000+Rs.10000 GP Or
Minimum two years experience of working on the post in the scale of Rs.37400-67000+Rs.8700 GP Or
(ii) Minimum twenty years experience of working in power Sector out of which three years experience in a senior assignment relating to Electricity Laws, regulatory /commercial affairs and other activities relevant to the working of the Commission.
3. Deputy Director/M&F -01
Pay Scale: Rs. 16650-39100+Rs.8500 GP
Minimum Educational Qualification: CA/ICWA/CFA/CPA or MBA in Finance Or
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university and should have passed sectional officer grade examination conducted by CAG of India or SAS examination conducted by the State Government/PSPCL or similar entitles.
4. Director/M&F -01
Pay Scale: Rs.67000-79000 or Rs.41300-67000 +Rs.10500 GP
Minimum Educational Qualifications: C A/ ICWA / CFA/ CPA/ MBA(Finance) or officers from IRS / IA&AS
Qualifying service:
(i) Serving /retired officers of the Central/State Government or PSU under State /Central Government having experience of working on the post in the scale of Rs.37400-67000 +10000 GP
5. Private Secretary -01
Pay Scale: Rs.10900-34800+5750 GP
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Qualifying Service: Serving/ retired officers of the Central/State Government or PSU under State/ Central Government must have experience of working on the post of PS/ Equivalent post; or
Minimum three years as PA/Equivalent post and Should have an overall experience of 15 years in stenography.
