Name of Post: Scientist-C
No of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 (Grade Pay – Rs.6600/-)
Qualification:
1. Master’s Degree in Environment/Life Sciences/ Agriculture/Forestry & Natural Resources or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental/Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent in first Division.
2. Four years work experience after Graduation or Post Graduation as the case may be out of which two years should be in relevant fields such as environment/climate change/ pollution control.
Name of Post: Scientist-B
No of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 (Grade Pay – Rs.5400/-)
Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree in Environment/Life Sciences/ Agriculture/Forestry & Natural Resources or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental/ Civil/Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent in first Division.
(ii) Two years work experience after Graduation or Post Graduation as the case may be out of which one year should be in relevant fields such as environment/climate change/ pollution control.
Name of Posts: Senior Research Fellow
No of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: Rs.28,000/- (consolidated)
Qualifications & Experience (Essential): Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering. Two years experience in relevant area. In case NET qualified
candidates are not available or not found suitable, Council may recruit SRF from among the candidates having minimum 70% marks in Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or in Graduate Degree in Environmental/Civil/ Chemical Engineering with two years experience in the relevant area.

Salary per month: Rs.5,000/- Consolidated
Qualifications & Experience (Essential) : 1st Class B.Sc. or 3 years Diploma in Computers/Information Technology from a recognized University.
