The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Post: Deputy District Attorney
No of Posts: 41
Initial Pay: Rs.47600/- Per Month
Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 18 Years and above 37 Years of age as on 01.01.2022.
Qualification:
- Persons who possess a degree of Bachelor of Law (Professional Degree) of a recognized university or institution or who are Barristers of England or Ireland or are members of Faculty of Advocates of Scotland and are eligible for being enrolled as an advocate Under Advocates Act, 1961, and who have 7 Years experience of practice at the Bar.
- Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
Provided further that where a ward of Defence Service Personnel, who is bonafide resident of Punjab State, is appointed by direct Appointment, he shall have to pass an examination of Punjabi Language equivalent to Matriculation Standard or he shall have to qualify a test conducted by the Language wing of the Department of Education of Punjab Govt. within a period of two Years from the date of his appointment. Provided further that where a War Hero, who has been discharged from defence services or paramilitary forces on account of disability suffered by him and his widow or dependent member of his family, is appointed under the Instructions issued in this behalf by the Govt. the Person so appointed will not be required to possess afore said knowledge of Punjabi Language.
