The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
1. Assistant Director (Toxicology)
No of Posts: 03
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + 6600/- Grade PayQualification: a) M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution ; and
b) an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of seven years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organization.
2. Scientific Officer (Toxicology)
No of Posts: 03
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 4400/- Grade Pay
Qualification: a) M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution ; and
b) an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organization.
c) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
3. Scientific Officer (Ballistics)
No of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 4400/- Grade Pay
Qualification: a) M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution; and
b) an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organization.
c) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
4. Scientific Assistant (Toxicology)
No of Posts: 04
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 4400/- Grade Pay
Qualification: a) M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution; and
b) an experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organization.
c) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
5. Scientific Assistant (Ballistics)

6. Scientific Assistant (Photography)
No of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 4400/- Grade Pay
Qualification: a) M.Sc. degree in any subject from a recognized university or institution and should possesses B.Sc. degree with one of the subject as physics ; and Should have passed:
b) B.Sc. degree from recognized university or institution with Physics and two years diploma in Scientific Photography.
c) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
