Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh intends to fill up the vacant post of 150 Staff Nurse Grade–II for running the hospital services purely on contract basis for a period of six months through walk-in interview. other details of these posts like age limit, qualification, experience, how to apply, etc. are given below:

Remuneration to be paid (fixed contractual amount) : Rs.22,195/- p.m.
Age Limit: The age limit is upto 30 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and three years for
OBC candidates will be given as per Govt. of India rules).
Qualification :
- Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board
- Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification for Male Nurse.
- Should be a registered ‘A’ grade Nurse and midwife with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification for Male Nurse.
Selection Criteria: The selection of the candidates for the above posts will be on the basis of walk-ininterview to be conducted on 7.9.2016 at 10.00 AM onwards at Bhargava Auditorium/Zakir Hall, PGI, Chandigarh. Based on the number of candidates, the competent authority may take screening test/structured objectivised interview as per the
requirement and will be determined on the number of applicants on the day of interview.
Walk In Interview Schedule: Interested and Eligible candidates who fulfill the above eligibility conditions may attend the walk In Interview on 07.09.2016. The candidate should bring duly filled application form to be downloaded from the website of the Institute i.e. www.pgimer.edu.in in duplicate alongwith all the documents/certificates i.e. matriculation, degree certificate, registration and caste certificate (if applicable) including two passport size latest photographs at the time of interview. All the original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of walk-in-interview.
