University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh Recruits Guest faculty in the following subjects for the period from January to June 2015 (Even Semester).

• Pharmaceutics
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Qualifications:

Essential:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with first division and M. Pharmacy Degree in Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Chemistry with first division.

Desirable:

• Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization in the relevant subject.
• Published work in refereed journals.
• Papers presented at Conferences, Workshops or Seminars.

Note:

The above assignment is on a lecture-basis payment of Rs. 1000/- per Theory lecture / Practical of up to 2/3 hours with ceiling on maximum payment of not more than Rs. 25,000/- per month. An applicant who is a research fellow, shall have to give an undertaking on his appointment that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend, or any other financial assistance from any government agency for the tenure he/she works as a guest faculty, or he/she shall not claim guest lecture payment for the period he/she draws fellowship/stipend/financial assistance from a government agency.
