The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+5400/- Grade Pay
Age Limit: Candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 42 years as on 01.08.2015.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Degree of a recognized University or one of the other equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering specified in Appendix ‘B’ to the Punjab Service of Engineers Class-II PWD (Public Health) Rules,1966.
(ii) Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.
Provided that Degree obtained through distance education mode from Universities/Deemed Universities/Technical Institutions is valid qualification for initial recruitment only if such Degree programme of technical education conducted through distance education mode has been approved by the joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC as clarified by the Govt. of Haryana vide its letter No. 42/178/2008-5GSI dated 21.05.2009.

Application Fee:
(i) For Male candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-servicemen of Haryana: Rs. 1000/-
(ii) For Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States.: Rs. 1000/-
(iii) For all Female candidates of General category including Female Dependent of Ex-servicemen of Haryana only. : Rs. 250
(iv) For Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States.: Rs. 250/-
(v)For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC / EBP (GC)/ ESM categories of Haryana only. : Rs. 250/-
How to Apply: The online application can be filled up to 16.12.2015 by using Commission’s website after which the link will be disabled. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date of submission of online application.
Submission of Application Form: Candidate should ensure that the hard copy of their online application form alongwith all photocopies of certificates and two passport size photo (same as scanned on online application form) for admission to the examination must reach Commission’s office at Bays No. 1 – 10, Block – B, Sector-4, Panchkula by post or by personal delivery by close of office working on or before the closing date i.e. 04.01.2016 (11.01.2016 for applicants from forward remote areas) failing which these will not be accepted. The Haryana Public service Commission will not be responsible for any delay on the part of Postal Department or Courier Agency and all the applications received after the closing date will be rejected out rightly. Incomplete or unsigned application forms shall also be rejected out rightly.
