Department of Water Supply and Sanitation SAS Nagar, invites applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the posts Public Relation Officer, Design Expert (Sewer, Solid & Liquid Waste Management), Design Expert (Water Supply), Sr. Design Expert (Sewer), Sr. Design Expert (Water Supply), Structure Engineer (Water Supply), Procurement & Contract Management Adviser, on Contract Basis initially for a period of one year extended able on yearly basis depending upon performance but in any case not beyond 31.3.2021 (end of World Bank Project), other details of these posts like age limit, qualification, experience, how to apply, etc. are given below:

Name of Posts: Public Relation Officer
No of Posts: 01
Salary: Rs. 50000/- Per Month
Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, public relation.
- Having 10 years experience in similar capacity in a reputed organization or State Government
- Knowledge and skills: should have complete knowledge of the communications, media and Administration. Should have knowledge of Psychology of the public, human behavior, and Psychological research methods, negotiation skills,
- Punjabi upto matric level is compulsory.
Name of Posts: Design Expert (Sewer, solid & liquid waste management)
No of Posts: 01
Salary: Rs. 0.75 to 1.00 Lakh (Per Month).
Qualification:
- Post graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8 years’ experience in planning and designing solid & liquid waste management system including sewage treatment system.
- Must possess knowledge of various software used in designing of sewage treatment system such as sewer CAD etc.
- Sufficient knowledge of English, Hindi/ Punjabi language.
Name of Posts: Design Expert (Water Supply)
No of Posts: 01
Salary: upto Rs. 0.75 to 1.00 Lakh (per month).
Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8years experience in Planning and Designing of large Surface & Ground Water based Water Supply System out of which at least five years practical experience in designing of Urban & Rural Water Supply System.
- Must possess knowledge of various software used in designing of Water Supply System such as EPANET, Water Gem etc.
- Sufficient knowledge of English, Hindi/ Punjabi language.
Name of Posts: Sr. Design Expert (Sewer)
No of Posts: 01
Salary: upto Rs. 1.25 – 1.50 Lakh (per month)
Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- At least 12 years relevant experience in sewerage treatment system, liquid & solid waste management out of which at least five years practical experience in designing of Sewage System.
- Must have worked as Senior Engineer in reputedPrivate/ Semi-Government/ Government organization.
- Must possess knowledge of various software used in designing of Sewer System.
- Sufficient knowledge of English, Hindi/ Punjabi language.
Name of Posts: Sr. Design Expert (Water Supply)
No of Posts: 01
Salary: upto Rs. 1.25 – 1.50 Lakh (per month)
Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering/ or Environmental Engineering.
- At least 12 years relevant experience in Planning, Designing, Construction and O&M of Surface & Ground Water based Water Supply System out of which at least five years practical experience in designing of Urban & Rural Water Supply System.
- Must have worked as Senior Engineer in reputedPrivate/ Semi-Government/ Government organization.
- Must possess knowledge of various technologies for collection, transportation and treatment of water.
- Must possess knowledge of various software used in designing of Water Supply System.
- Sufficient knowledge of English, Hindi/ Punjabi language
Name of Posts: Structural Engineer- Water Supply
No of Posts: 01
Salary: upto Rs. 0.75 – 1.25 Lakh (per month)
Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 8years experience in design of concrete and streel structures of water treatment plant of large Surface & Ground Water based Water Supply System, structures of waste water systems and other allied structures; and building.
- Expertise in using CAD based structural engineering designs.
- Sufficient knowledge of English, Hindi/ Punjabi language.
Name of Posts: Procurement and Contract Management Adviser
No of Posts: 01
Salary: Upto Rs.1.5 lakh (per month)
Qualification: Any degree from a recognized university.
