Name of Positions: Senior Research Fellow

No of Positions : 02

Emoluments: Rs. 18000/- +20% HRA per month.

Educational Qualification:

• B.V.Sc & A.H. degree or B.Sc  degree in any relevant branch of life Sciences/ Biological Sciences with at least second division.
• M.V.Sc./ M.Sc and / or Ph.d degree in any branch of Life sciences/ veterinary sciences/ biological sciences with specialization in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Immunology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Becteriology with at least 65% Marks or an OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matriculation level. The condition of Punjabi is however relaxable if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.

Preference:  Candidates with B.V.Sc. & A. H. as basic qualification will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities :

• Research duties as per mandate of the project.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• The Work involves going to field for collection of samples & Extensive handling of livestock, staying for long hours commuting rural areas.

Note:

The Post is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The Initial appointment will be for six months and will be extended subject to satisfactory work or co terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. The incumbent will have no right what so ever for absorption in the regular University Services.
