Punjab Legal Services Authority, Invites applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the Post of and 05 Post of Driver, on Permanent basis, other details of this post like age limit, qualification, experience, how to apply, etc. are given below:

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:

Age Limit: Not be Less than 16 Years and not more than 37 Years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200+2400 Grade Pay
Qualification & Experience: The Applicant must have passed the Matric Standard Examination with Punjabi Language as one of the Subject from a recognized Institution. Apart from this Candidate must possess valid Driving License of LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) with minimum 02 Years driving experience. any applicant possessing LMV (Tans,) LMV (Commercial), LMV (Cab), LMV (Private), LMV-GV, Motor Cab Transport Vehicle and Trans Provided these is no other endorsement making the candidates ineligible, shall also be eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria: Selection will be made on the basis of Driving Skills Test and an assessment of General Aptitude, Behavior, Dress as well as Mannerism.
The State Legal Services Authority reserve the right to short list the applications on the basis of criteria fixed by competent authority.
Documentation: No Document is to be attached with the application. The Candidates must be in possession of original documents/ testimonials regarding their eligibility before submission of their application. at the time of appearing for “Assessment of General Aptitude Etc.” the Applicant shall produce the following original certificates.
- ID Proof
- Date of Birth Certificate
- All certificates regarding educational Qualification.
- Driving License
- Discharge Book (For Ex-Servicemen)
- Any other certificate relied upon.
Self attested copies of the aforesaid certificates shall be submitted at the time of Scrutiny of documents.
How to Apply: Interested and Eligible candidates who fulfill the above eligibility conditions may submit their applications on prescribed proforma, so as to reach the office of the Punjab Legal Services Authority, Site No 126, Sector 69, SAS Nagar, Mohali on or before 16.08.2017. The Envelop should be superscribed with the Words, “Application for the Post of Driver” Application can be submitted personally or sent by registered post.
