PPSC Patiala Recruits 306 Medical Officer General

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400/- Grade Pay.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on
01-01-2018.

• M.B.B.S.
• Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted
  Medical Council in India.
• Knowledge of Punjabi Language upto Matriculation Standard or its equivalent.
  Candidates who do not possess this qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their joining the service failing which their services shall be terminated.

The details of Competitive examination are as follows:-

• This is for information that for the posts of Medical Officer (General) in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab the competitive examination for recruitment to these posts shall be conducted tentatively on 22/04/2018.
• The scheme of the examination process shall be as under:
  Marks of Competitive Examination: 340 (170 Questions)
  Interview Marks                              : 60 Marks

The candidates are required to pay the Application fee as per Govt. Letter No. 10/20/2007

The printout of the duly filled Online Application Form alongwith copy of Bank Challan and relevant documents must reach {by Speed post/By hand} in the office of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala at the Latest by 5.00 pm before or by 27/03/2018.

The list of SELF ATTESTED CERTIFICATES that shall be submitted by
candidates alongwith the print out of Online Application Form is as follows:
1. Proof of Date of Birth : Certificate of Matriculation/Higher Secondary.
2. Proof of having passed Punjabi Language.
3. Relevant Degree and DMC Certificate.
4. Registration of Punjab Medical Council or of any other Duly Constituted Medical Council in India.
5. Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority( If Applicable)
6. Experience certificate issued by Competent Authority.
7. If ESM, certificates/document(s) mentioning the following:-
a) Date of Enrolment
b) Date of Release/Discharge
c) Reason of Release/ Discharge
8. Certificate as proof of age relaxation claim. (If Applicable)
9. Certificate as proof of fee concession (If Applicable)
10. Proof of being Govt. Employee.(If applicable)
