Name of Post: Research Assistant

No of Posts: 01

Salary: Rs. 25000/-P.M. For M.Sc. Candidate and Rs.30000/- For Ph.D Candidate.

Essential Qualification:

• B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc. Horticulture/ B.Sc Forestry/ B.Sc at least at Second Division.
• Master’s Degree in Agronomy, With OCPA  of 6.5 out of 10.00 or 65% Marks.
• Matriculation level Certificate of Punjabi Language.
• The candidate without knowledge of Punjabi would only be considered/ appointed provided no candidate with Knowledge of is available.

Note: The candidate who does not possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject possesses Ph.D degree in the subject required at Master’s Level, shall be eligible for the post.

Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications duly completed in all respects to the office of the Head of Department, Department of Agronomy, Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on or before 06, February 2015.The candidates should appear walk in interview on 11, February 2015 at 11.00 A.M. in the office of the Head of Department, Department of Agronomy, Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana.

Note:

• No separate letter be sent for Interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
• The appointment will be for a six months in the first instance. The Person so appointed will have either deposit One month of salary to submit One month notice or the salary for the period falling short of one month. If he/ she opts quit the University and Vice-Versa.
