Engineering Department, Chandigarh Administration invites applications from the eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions for fill up the 05 posts of Work Munshi on temporary basis, The eligibility criteria for filling up the said posts of Work Munshi (Public Health) is detailed as under:-

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:
Name of Posts: Work Munshi
No of Posts: 05
Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200+2400 grade pay
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years for General category
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 pass from a recognized Board/University or equivalent.
- 2 Years experience in the trade.
Or - ITI certificate in the trade of Surveyor in the case of Civil and Plumber in the case of sanitary trade from
any Govt. Institute or its equivalent. - The selection for the post of Work Munshi shall only be basis on the objective type written test consisting
of 100 % only.
Note: Those candidates who have acquired ITI from the recognized Institute / University and approved by the
Joint committee are also eligible but such candidates will be considered at par with the basic qualification of ITI
certificate of two years duration in the trade of Work Munshi and they will no be given any preference for having
higher qualification diploma in respective discipline.
