Directorate of Sports, Panjab University, Chandigarh Recruits Sports Coaches

Last Date: 08, September 2015.

The Eligibility, Educational &. Professional Qualification and experience prescribed for the above post are as under:

1. Water Sports (Canoeing, Kayaking, Rowing and Yachting) Coach-1
2. Judo Coach-1

Salary: Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated)

Essential Qualification:
a) Graduation from any recognized University.
b) Diploma in Coaching in the concerned game or
Represented India under Senior Category in any of the following official tournament in his/her respective game:
i) Olympic Games/Asian Games
ii) SAF Games/SAG Games
iii) World Cup/World Championship
iv) Asian Cup/Asian Championship
v) Commonwealth Games
vi) World Universities
c) Participation atleast at National /All India Inter-University Level in the concerned game.

Desirable Qualification: Atleast 3 years experience of Coaching in the concerned game (Educational Institutions /State or UT Admn./Sports agency).

The terms & Conditions would imply the following:
i) The appointment shall be for 6 months and extendable as per P.U. rules.
ii) Salary will be @ Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated) from the PUSC budget head “Temporary Establishment /Contractual Services/hiring services/out sourcing/casual work” on contractual basis for six months with one day break after 89 days.
